Putting him in the garbage disposal to be blasted into space? That’s something you actually apologize for.

Actually, implosion would require exposure to high external pressure. The vacuum of space would most likely cause his blood to boil, his tissue to lose oxygen and his lungs to collapse, at the same time freezing his sweat and the water vapour in his breath. This would take around ninety seconds, though the hypoxia would render him unconcious within fifteen. All in all, implosion is probably a much nicer way to die.

On reflection… How does a ship with, like, two organic habitants have THAT much refuse? They must have been saving up for just such an occasion. In a sense, Zap was getting special guest treatment!
