So, err, NOT a metal detector, then…

  • Death13a

mmm how did Roana pass metal detector with arm(ed)-canon?

  • Non-ferris metals.

  • Signlanguagemonkey

Ferrous.  From the latin root ‘fer’, iron.

  • OctoDude

No, no – she means that none of the metal came from a 1961 convertible Ferrari 250 GT.  It’s entirely non-Ferris.

I think Kasey built Reona’s arm entirely out of spare parts from a Delorean DMC-12, including a primo flux capacitor.  Those are Brownian metals, I believe.

Or it’s a metal Mr Bueller has never heard of.

  • Typo Negative

Actually, “fer” is a latin suffix that comes from the latin “ferre”, meaning “to bear”, “to carry”. Thus lucifer=lightbearer. “Ferrous”, in turn, comes from “ferrum”, which indeed means iron.
