492 | A Moment of Doubt

Reona, don’t listen to what Efrem said! He is a jerk… maybe… And don’t think that Robot is trying to make Reona feel better because he has suddenly become a nice android. He just really hates it when she starts to cry. Robot does what Robot needs, got it?

In the story of my life news, I’ve been really sick! Like, really. I apparently decided to have one of those auto-immune diseases (I think I caught it from watching too much HOUSE).  I haven’t been talking about it on the site because I wasn’t sure what was wrong really until a couple of weeks ago when I finally got in to see an endocrinologist and got a blood test and all that. Apparently my body thinks that my thyroid gland is the enemy, so it attacks it which causes me to die a little bit all the time. But I’m totally on medication now and the pills are cheap (which is also good because apparently my insurance would rather pay for my systemic organ failure treatments than the cheap little pills that prevent it) and I feel better than I have in a long ass time. Hopefully this means I’ll be able to get my comic buffer going again (yes, surprise, I lost ALL OF IT about four months ago and have been flying by the seat of my pants ever since) and we’ll just have to see what happens.

    The look on Reona's face in the last panel is absolutely beautiful! You captured the emotions, all 27,389 of them, perfectly. (And no, I'm not going to try to list them.)

    I just realized something. Excelsior looks a lot like Reona. At first i just thought this was just her mimicking the form of the only female crew member, but dadelus, who’s never met Reona, also looks similer. HMM… curioser and curioser
