Reona is looking a little Forever Alone…

 

We had a great time at Tokyo in Tulsa! Thanks to everyone who came out! You can see some pictures from the show on my Twitter and Tumblr feeds.

    Feeling really bad for Reona right now. And also, Lepas, how could anyone possibly remember Iris from those background shots?

    When I looked back at those old issues, I realized how much the art has changed. You’ve become a really awesome artist. Keep up the good work. (But maybe don’t torture poor Reona so much!)

    Absolutely. I haven’t been following the whole time (I just started a few years ago), but even in the time I have been following there’s been a great progression of your artistry.

    I completely agree! When I started reading Zap a couple of years ago, I started obviously from the beginning and I soon realized how much progression was made by Pascalle year after year.
    This was definitely the plus Zap! deserved, since it has such a compelling story: if art was not up on par, it would have been such a shame!
    Congrats again both to Pascalle and to Chris.

    Just sorry that living in Italy prevented me to come to Tulsa…

    dont feel bad about not being able to visit. i live here but work keeps me all too busy, some of us have to keep the world spinning. but at least at the end of the day or night at times, it is good to relax and enjoy good comics such as zap.

    this brings a picture to mind….

    sitting upon a blanket a beautifully dressed woman rests with her legs curled to one side. raven colored hair flows like water down her back and splashes across her bare shoulders. her dress, a blue violet affair wrapped about her like the petals of a flower in mid bloom, accentuates her shapely form, the edges ending with lacy frills patterned lightly with subtle stripes and dots suggesting there is more to this picture of elegance than what is shown. she grips her parasol with one hand as it rests on her shoulder, the other held close by a striking man with hair the color of desert sand swept to the sides and seemingly untamed. his suit is the color of the deep blue sea, the jacket lay crumpled behind him, discarded in a heap. the eggshell shaded shirt with what seems to be pearl buttons is casually undone at the top few. his frame is that of a man who is no stranger to work. sitting next to her he gazes longingly upon her visage then begins drawing her in with a wry smile, but she acts coy and shies away with a giggle. he continues his advance until his beard tickles her neck, she shivers, and as he nuzzles her ear he whispers gently….”mon petit fleur”

    hopefully this brightens the day of a few people.

    (Although, in that first one, was she flirting with someone other than her boyfriend, who is in the same room? )
