Gosh that first sentence, he makes Reona’s love sound like a disease. I guess given his hatred for humans he probably would consider their “care” a bad thing.

Those lines under his eyes… Imagine the wailing of the fangirls (and boys, I suspect) if all that psychic power is taking a severe toll on Gunner’s lifespan. :O
Zap has them on his nose. I don’t know why, but they just don’t look right to me without them.
That being said, psychic energy use does take a tole on the user, which maybe it something you’ll see more of in the next (and final) arc!

Oh man, “I know you can’t hurt me!” sounds like just the same bright sort of thing to say as “what could possibly go wrong?” or “what’s the worst that could happen” or “I think we lost them!” Or maybe “let’s split up the party…”

I’m one of those few who will probably be happy to see an end to Zap. I think of all those old favorite TV shows, that seemed to last a little too long. Comics too. Stories, characters, should have an end. Otherwise they run into the absurd, repetitive, stale, dull, ludicrous, the phrase for TV shows is “jumped the shark”. I don’t want Zap to do that, go on “forever”. Life even has an end. Stories should end. I just hope that perhaps the dynamic duo of Chris and Pascalle will continue creating with a new story and characters.

While I really loved the dress she wore with Zap, the LBD is fantastic. I like how the stars shift on it as she move around.
And like Dr. Zuber, I too, will be sorry to see Zap! end and, like safyrejet, hope that you two, Pascalle & Chris, continue as a team in making comics.

I am very glad for Calle’s response to your question. It would be a true shame for new readers to be denied the experience of seeing the evolution of Calle’s artistic skills over time as they read through the archives.
I have trouble not snickering and getting distracted when reading your post. We used to have a dachshund that we had nicknamed LBD (his real name was Arthur). In his case, LBD stood for “Little Big D!ck”, and was not applied ironically.

He has had his hair in a braid off-and-on through the past couple volumes, so I don’t know why you are asking about it now! He even has it in a braid in the main background image (which reminds me that it is time for me to change it).
Oh.. I get the feeling both Gunner and Renoa are in for a rude awakening. Gunner may find out that Zap’s protection of her has not faded completely… and Renoa may find out you’d be amazed what you can live through… lol! :)
