Cover pages count. They’re usually really pretty and when you pick up a book to start reading you start with the cover.
I have a couple ideas. One of which is a comic that is dynamic and changes every week according to readers votes, the other was an idea for a spinoff comic about Grivak and the Hunters before their death, but that is just an idea I always have mulling around and would require an artist other than myself and of course permission for Pascalle as they are her characters too…. but the first idea is more likely to be honest.
I think Zap can. He was, is, an awfully good planner. He suckered Gunner into playing HIS game.

{sigh} People don’t wake up on some random morning and decide to be a sociopathic, murderous sadist… for no reason. Some times a tragedy takes place that shatteres a person’s world and hurls them down that path… or perhaps some injury or emotional trauma shatters their sanity and makes them crazy. For which one can truly feel sorry for those unfortunate few… but I don’t get the feeling Naveed has such a past. she seems quite sane and self-aware.
Which brings me back to my point.. he fall into evil was thing of choices YES…HER choices.. but people make choices because they are usually trying to make the best of choices that bring them happiness right? Well what if the ‘choices’ presented do not bring happiness …but one must still choose? So.. my point is likely Naveed is the way she is from a series of unfortunate choices that perhaps she may … or may not have had any better ones presented her. I don’t know about you.. but I find it sad when any sentient being is forced to make choices that would bring them to where Naveed is currently. I’m sure she has made mistakes and even perhaps felt her choices were justified… but ANY live consumed by avarice that only finds pleasure in inflicting pian in others is a tragedy. However, Naveed is not insane… and after a fashion.. she STILL knows how to be loyal.. and how to love. she still loves Gunner {in as much as she can love anyone}.
I do not think her love for Gunner is not genuine.. she is not seemingly interested in what he can give her or for his power..which seems to me that his psi powers actually scare her!
It seems to me Naveed sees in Gunner someone who feels the universe has deeply wronged him and his race and he’s taking matters into his own hands to get some payback! I think that inspires her.. perhaps she too feels wronged by the universe..and her only way to deal with the hurt inside is to strike back at others? She obviously can’t actually stiek back at whatever terrible events made her what she is now… so she targets EVERYONE…except Gunner. she even felt a brand of comraderie to the Satellites..so emotional feeling and empathy is NOT beyond her.
Zap sees this too… in her..and in Gunner. which is why he spared them both.
I hope..Gunner does not have to watch Naveed die.. or her watch him die.

Wow. Wowywowwowwow. I mean, look at those expressions! As much as Zap doesn’t want to end gunner, he sure is ticked at him and for good reason too! Obviously, Gunner has severed ties with him. Hurt on several levels. Poor Zap, he just doesn’t want to face facts. Poor, poor, naive wretch.

It would be here on the site. We’ll work it out more as the end of the comic approaches, but I think it would be a really fun way to wrap it up!

I think Gunner can but it’s a hazy view. Remember that he could see that he wouldn’t get Zap’s ship and sent Naveed to be his “eyes” to find out why http://www.zapcomic.com/2011/11/557-a-planned-delay/. Maybe Gunner’s lack of response is connected to his shared history with Zap — we have reason to believe Zap’s the only person he’s ever truly feared/respected. Of course, since Gunner probably sees Zap’s “mercy” as a weakness, all bets are off.
Watch out, Chris, you do know where she’s planning on sticking that cotton candy?

I’ve been wondering, do y’all ever see an idea in a comment that you like so much that you add it into the storyline? I know major, plot changing ideas can’t be incorporated, but maybe something like turning one of the battles on the moon into a low gravity, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon fight might have worked.
We’ve changed things before but I’m not sure it was because of a specific comment more from fan swell in general. The biggest example is Kasey becoming a regular cast member.

I clearly remember, he was so obsessed to own the ship, that he forgot to see other things. He even tried to help Zap to regain his memory back. And this was his worst mistake. However, I think the ship being destroyed was not planned by Zap. It seems the pirate girl did it as a revenge to his father’s death. and it’s less likely to be Zap’s idea to kill the father, to make the daughter so angry…
