Anyway, I’ve talked about this before, but Zap! is going to be over soon! It’s crazy, I know! It’s been going on since 2003 and some of you have been reading it that entire time. That’s nuts! I think she blames Zap,and to an extent, herself for everything that has happened, to include her relationship with Gunner. I don’t think she expects to walk out of this encounter with Zap, and in fact has her mind dead set on that.

Pascalle, what’s the issue number of the final page of Zap? I tend to pause my DVR, when a show ‘s almost over, to see how much time is left. So, my remote thumb is getting twitchy, wondering just how long we have left.
I think it would be cool, if every few months, or maybe once a year, you added two or three pages, keeping us up to date with the lives of what’s left of the cast. You could do pages that looked kinda like Facebook posts, like, “Check out Zap Junior’s first steps! It’s been quite a year. I burned out a power cell in my arm cannon. Kasey said it wasn’t designed for incinerating diapers every day.”
Also, it would be fun if Zap! was the favorite sci-fi TV show of one of the characters in Wilde Life. Every now and then, you could have a TV in the background of their living room, with Zap! characters on the screen.

Gunner should have copied Zap’s psychic shield idea if he can as it would at the very least keep Zap there slightly longer

I kinda wonder if she might say something like, “You can stop him, but I won’t let you kill him.”
I know she enjoys a good slaughter, maybe even a genocide. But even she has her limits. Gunner’s not killing for fun, and not even for revenge, anymore. Now, it’s an unhealthy obsession, that’s driving him, and it has no desire to ever let him go, before it claims him as its final victim.

This is… sadly a Zap-Assisted suicide. Naveed wants to die. I don’t think she wants to live with the Gunner he has become.. but she loves him still and knows should he call she’d come a running.. but what she fears most.. is he won’t call for her that he finally abandons her for his madness. I don’t think Naveed wants to face that.
This is a suicide. Her last chance to show Gunner.. how devoted she is… maybe he will miss her when she’s gone for good? And maybe he’ll finally know the pain and abandonment he’s put her through?
I could be wrong… but Yeah. Sad.

That’s even funnier to me right now because over at another comic the characters are mixing up “kiss” and “kill”.

I hate to be rude but….
…why? You’re not the problem, it only wastes time, and if he actually tried….then her chances of winning are so low they may as well be negative. I think the only way this ends well for her is if Zap manages to pacify Gunnar, which also has practically nil chance. Otherwise her boyfriend’s dead, and/or she’s dead/horribly, horribly wounded. And the best chance at pacifying Gunnar is probably if Zap is…well…..there to help.
So really….why?

I know you guys have this plan, but really? Naveed is no threat to Zap. I have no sense of forbidding here. I’m just like, ‘Really? This is going to be a thing?’ I’ve lost my suspension of disbelief, based on everything you guys have shown us about Psychics.
Why bother with mice or a laser pointer? Throw her an open bag of catnip or a ball of catnip laced yarn. Cats are well known to have ADHD, so this should be the perfect distraction for her!
