    Actually, it wouldn’t be safe for them ANYWHERE, in base or out. Especially with Gunner using “remote viewing” to locate Excelsior.

  • he used to be pretty high up in the rebellion too. technically the ship is operating without a captain again. usually the next highest would take command, reona. but if justin is on board he out ranks reona and therefore makes the decisions. whether or not they follow orders is another story.

  • No, Base is a planet with the resistance headquarters. Gunner is holding Zap on earth’s moon at the Universal Psychic Academy, which he took-over and is using a possessed William as a cover.

    will the crew be forced to return to base?
    will reona ever be able to rescue zap from being a nite light?
    will we find out exactly what efrem is up to?
    will kasey finally plug in the robot of her dreams?
    will we find out if naveed is with child?….er, kittens?.

    or would little gunner look like a mix?….maybe a litter of gunittens?
    that would be creepy as hell, like children of the corn creepy, but adorably hipnotic to lull you into a false sense of AWWWWWWW just before they rip you a new colon.
    would give new meaning to colonoscopy.

    might make a good movie….”NIGHT OF THE COLON KITTENS”

    I recommend a thorough check for bombs, then to move ‘Excelsior’ for great justice. Base probably isn’t in their hands any more.
