Hey, do either of these shirt designs strike your fancy? Chris and I were mulling doing a short order of shirts. Let me know in the comments if you are interested and if enough people want shirts we’ll get them done!

i like number two. However, i’d prefer that it show my face on the back.

Those are some sexy eyes…is it weird that that was the first thing I thought?

  •  If we did one with your face on the back it would have to say “original zapling.” lol.

  •  It would have been nice for you to pick up on the three day timeline, but hey, eye appreciation ain’t bad either! :P

Gonna have to vote for shirt #2 here. Has Excelsior always had that little pink vapor trail behind it?

  •  She has, indeed.

  • Psionicost

    Anyone else thinking General Meatloaf?

  •  I don’t know what this is, and when I googled it I only got meatloaf recipes. : (

I feel like the planet is almost tatooine like… And yet also Yavin IV ish, being the main rebel base and all…

I love shirts, only I really really prefer them when the design has the girly cut shirt option.  That’s usually more expensive to print on multiple styles so I don’t know if you’d do that…Just please promise me, you’ll never ever print THOSE eyes on a shirt.  That’d be just scary.

Also I should probably mention I like the right design better than the left.  The left design looks too large on the shirt and if it’s the front of the shirt showing (are these front or back designs?) the angled “zapcomic” words are probably gonna cut weird across my female curvature.  Smaller centered designs are better for boobs.

Both designs kinda feel like, “Hey, I’m a walking billboard!”

But for shirt #2-Instead of the website url right on your chest, could it be placed on the bottom in smaller font? Sitting on the hip maybe? It’s worked for a few other of my shirts from webcomics. Though I’m ALL for a Kasey shirt!

  • Ooo, hiding the base in a Dali painting. Brilliant!

  • Einargizz

We’ve been conditioned to think that all desert like looking planets are called Tatooine.
Mark my word. One day we will start exploring the wast depths of space on our quest to find other habitable planets. On this search we shall come across a desert world and it shall be named Tatooine.

  • Darn, the Last Page! (Man, I hate that page…)

Or Arakis…Arakis is good too. I guess that only applies if the desert planet in question has giant worms…

  • hes a straight up O.Z.

  • As the one who coined the term “Zapling”, I of course favor the second shirt. ;)

It sucks, however, that my chronically broke condition precludes any commitment on my part to buy a shirt. :(

  •  Don’t worry. Next week there’ll be a brand new last page to hate! :)

Since I saw huge fields and a windmill or granary at first glance, I thought of Lensman first (slightly obscure Anime movie woo!). Too mountainous to be Tatooine, even if it is a rebel base.

  • Sarah Bronson

Augh, curse me for catching up on archives so fast. Darnit, Sam, how did you take so long to read through this??

  • Are all of it belong to General Maximus yet?

…. I can’t help but think of Dr. McNinna’s peculiar agreement with local law enforcement upon seeing this strip.

  • Crestlinger

    …Meanwhile on Tatooine…

  • Speedy Marsh

The next earthquake closes the rift… Squish!
