    …Okay, is it just me, or are Zap’s eyes kinda freaky-lookin’? o_O I mean, I’m practically bouncing since he’s back, and it has been forEVER (I was back in Tulsa at a YMCA camp last time he had a real arc, and that was four years ago!)… But I double checked the archives, and those eyes, man…

    They look fine to me. Paz’s drawing style has changed a lot since volume 4 (which is basically the last time we saw the guy), so that’s probably got something to do with it. And the fact that he’s on the verge of completely breaking down.

    They’re green! I don’t think Zap has green eyes.

    I kinda hope that doesn’t happen…well at least not the way it normally does. Get your own stuff! Is a concept that I was raised with. Even Gunner has someone that he can say is his. Reona at least initially liked Zap because he reminded her of Efferam.

    They were a lot DARKER shade of green normally, and the pupil really wasn’t that dilated when he was calm. I mean, the images of “normal” Zap didn’t have eyes like that, neither did “falcon” Zap, though the near lime green color was closer. I don’t know, maybe this is showing that the Zap WE know and the Zap GUNNER knows are getting closer to merging?

    Oooooh. I fully expect her to press him and for Zap to lash out at her with his powers. That would be… tense. Looking forward to the next few pages.

    Well, looks like Zap’s almost at the breaking point. It’ll be interesting to see how he originally was, to say the least. By the way, happy new year! Hope I’m not the first one to say that here.

    I know what he’s getting at, and i know Gunner would do exactly just that, so i hope Reona can really find a way to convince him otherwise. And Zap… looks older in some way or another. I fear he shall no longer be the goofy guy we know and love. Well… at least he has the hairdo going on for him.

    when i read that i suddenly had a cartoon flashback, or something vaguely resembling it…..soemhow.

    Grontar;- “let our abilities unite!!……BIG GUNS, POW!” *flexes all four arms*

    Robot;- “SARCASM!”

    Kasey;- “GIZMOS!”

    Excelsior;- “TECHNOBABBLE!”

    Reona;- “HEART!”

    Zap;- “by your abilities united, I AM CAPTAAAAAAAIN….ZAP!!!………..yaaaa, this isn’t working guys, lets go with plan B and have Reona seduce gunner and plant a location beacon in his pants and we’ll have excelsior beam rabid weasels directly into them.”

    I’m thinking that Reona will likely be giving Gunner (whose likely inside Zap’s or Reona’s mind right now, especially with the old man’s comment about how open her mind is) exactly what he needs by explaining to Zap what’s been happening. Which she would likely need to do to prove she’s not an figment of torture.
