    So I don’t get the current obsession over his nose, but I do agree with one thing. Your art has improved over the years. Nice work.

    Zap’s nose is still twice as big! He was always supposed to have kind of a big nose.

    I don’t know why a lot of people read the stylization I used later as “no nose” but it is apparently a common enough thing that it gets brought up from time to time.

  • No, zap really never had a nose except from the side. Before now, the artist (who I assume had difficulty figuring out what a rather wide nose would look like) just drew vague lines across his face in suggestion of a nose and hoped none of us would notice. We did, but I’m glad he finally has a nose. He looks so cute! <3

    Zap’s nose has always looked like a nose. it’s just that Pascalle’s art style evolved over time, and with it the noses. It isn’t just Zap’s nose either, all the noses changed over time. Zap’s nose is just so noticeable because it’s so big.

    Also…I’ve typed nose to many times and know the word looks weird :(

    So. I know it’s been years for Zaplings to see this, but it’s been so long, I haven’t kept in-universe time in check – how long has it been in-universe since the last time Zap and Reona got a chance to hug? Because it is long overdue.

    Yeah, actually, I was thinking the same thing about the noses, though it took me a minute to figure out what was different. Well almost. For me it’s not that Zap suddenly has a nose, it’s more like, he (and Reona) actually have nostrils now, as I supposed the other human characters would if I went back to check and compare. Reona’s nose is more rounded than before and Zap has ‘smile lines’. You know, those ‘parenthesis’ you get around your mouth whenever you open or smile wide. Not everyone gets them, and yet Zap’s are very pronounced. All of the art is constantly moving towards a more realistic spectrum. It’s just awesome to see your art skills change and grow so much!
