    Such a masterful set of panels! Of course the last one is the unbelievably amazing pièce de résistance with the lighting and the expression and the dramatic effects! But the others are so solid too! ahhhh everything just looks so professional and polished and awesome! <3

    Though I have to admit, for #666 I was hoping for a Gunner and/or Naveed update XD what ARE our dastardly villains doing while all this is going on I wonder? Hmm…

    Homanahomanahomana. Hooooooooo, man. WOw. I mean…wow. So beautiful. So dramatic. So…tantalizing! Everything. Don’t to the smallest bit of detail. The very concept of this page braught into existence is extraordinarily exceptional. Masterful. Oh, wow. I so envy your talent. I always wished I was this good in art, but my talents took to writing instead.
    I just have two questions. 1) This bugged me last update, but where are the other shipmates? I thought maybe they’d show up next update, but next update comes and they’re still missing. Dundunduuuun. Hope they didn’t get caught in the blast!
    2) What’d Reona do, shove William back into the cave for safe keeping? She pulled him along and now he’s MIA. (pouts) No William makes me sad.

  • It was going like this: they were not winning even a little bit.

  • Kasey and Grontar are still on the ship trying to get Excelsior running (Justin told them to go to the engine room right after they crashed). Presumably Robot is there too, because he is useless in a fight.

    You will see William again in a few pages. She just drug him right along. :)

    Storm isn’t my favorite, that spot is reserved for Nightcrawler and Gambit, but she is a really cool character. That last panel does channel her essence though. If you ignore the fact that it is a cliche effect that has been used thousands of times in media. Mostly because it’s always so cool to use. Especially here. Most especially here, especially the way you have expression and the tear sliding down her cheek and..and…wow. Everything about it is just so epic.
