    Zap still doesn’t know Gunner is on the ship. As it is he might try to get past her to look for Gunner. To that degree she can mislead him or way-lay him. Additionally, Gunner might have thought ahead and prepared something to help Naveed in her task.

    Also, Naveed, Gunner, Zap and Reona backwards are Deevan, Rennug, Paz and Anoer.

    Actually, she kinda is. He’s lingering to stare at her with sad, guilty eyes. The whole power-to-kinetically-crush-any-number-of-vital-organs thing only works if he’s actually willing to do so.

    Zap, snap out of! Staring at her plaintively is helping no one. You’re only gonna end up more sad and guilty when you get back to save Reona and the rest of the universe and discover Efrem sacrificed himself slowing down Gunner long enough for you to have time to stare sadly at Naveed.

    Not much to say that the post didn’t.

    ‘Cept for Zap’s eyes. They look so damn sad. He really doesn’t want to deal with her. (Which begs the obvious question: it looked like he sent Reona back to the ship with teleport. Can’t he do the same exact thing to get himself back? Or is there going to be some later thing of “Wow Gunnar has some serious timing breaking the teleport right then.”)

    I’ll make an effort to comment on the artwork more. I notice like a million things that I just love on each page, I’m very detailed oriented and artistic myself, plus I’m a very visual person. I think most pages I just don’t know what to comment on so I don’t say anything about the visual art.

    I think what I’ve enjoyed the most about reading Zap for so many years is seeing your progress as an artist as you’ve improved and evolved. Especially since I have no time to practice my own art or write my own story. I’m really looking forward to what you’ve got in store with Wilde Life.

    My theory right now is that Excelsior might be stuck between which psychic is her Captain. I mean knowing Gunner came to take Excelsior (while Efrem did not so he remains passive), perhaps his closer proximity means he can commandeer her out from under Zap’s control which could mean Zap can’t use her to teleport? It’s just a theory. I’m gonna excited to see what Chris and Pascalle wrote.

    But still it does beg the question of what would Excelsior be like with the personality of Gunner.
