Five, six, seven o’clock, eight o’clock dock. In case you are wondering what duck Holly is referring to, remember that the name of the pirate ship is the ‘Ebony Duck.’

Also, there’s an update on Billy the Squid toys.

    Actually if you go back to the most recent appearance of Naveed in archive: “Ahoy” and especially “Unlucky Pirates” her katana is very well proportioned and has all the correct characteristics thereof.

    Also I too love the boat smiley!

    Ah, I was remembering way back when during the carnival arc when the katana was more the way I described. But then, Zap twisted that one up and stuff, so she must've gotten a new one.

    The droppers coming during the day confuses me… Wouldn't it be something more like part of the year? Or is it angled so that during the day, that side of the planet is going through the asteroid belt first? Hmmm…

    I don’t mean to nitpick… oh, who the hell am I kidding, of course I do. The katana on both those pages is actually wrong for the very simple reason that it’s blade is straight as a ruler instead of slightly curved, so there =P

    I’m sure many – possibly most – people here have some other work they are reminded of when seeing the broadly grinning Ebony Duck. For me – and I know I’m showing my age here – that “other work” can only ever be the animated movie, “Heavy Metal”. (R.I.P., John Candy.)
